Pray for:

• Please pray for Sr Tomo who will be the support official for the savings groups.

March 2009

Pray for:

• Please pray for our CDP staff who are feeling crunched.
• Please continue to pray for my house help, Baptista.

Praise:

• Good news about little Laurinha. She is doing much better and is playing.
• I survived my first week back in school.

• We are beginning to start up the savings group program. 

February 2009

Pray for:

• Please pray for me as I struggle with my personal devotions and time with God.

• Savings group program as we begin to work in March (wisdom for me as I head this up!)

• Our new Country Director, Mapanza from Nambia and Child Development Manager, Halkeno, from Ethiopia (my new direct supervisor) as they start work and adjust.

• The church in Gorongosa which lacks Biblical training, basic literacy... in an area seeped in tradition which includes witchdoctors, polygamy, and curses. The church is in major need of discipleship.

• PRAISE: Savings groups funding and support has been tremendous!
